rain 4G SIMS now available at more Pargo pickup points

Pick up a rain SIM today at your nearest participating Clicks thanks to the company’s growing partnership with Pargo. There are now 334 Pargo Pickup Points inside Clicks stores in Gauteng, KZN, The Western Cape, North West, The Eastern Cape and Free State offering rain SIMS. Customers can find their participating Clicks store by visiting rain’s website, rain.co.za, and clicking on ‘pick up a 4G SIM today’. 

To pick up a rain SIM, customers simply ask for one at the Pargo counter in store – they’re free. For convenience, there’s an online RICA process that enables consumers to activate online. 

Once you have your SIM, head to the rain website and click on the activate SIM button. You can choose from a range of plans, including unlimited 4G data 24/7 for R479 month-to-month or unlimited off-peak, which offers 19 hours of unlimited data every day, for only R250 a month. These affordable, unlimited data plans have no contracts tying customers in and have proved very popular with South Africans.

Customers can still choose to have their SIMs delivered to their homes for free via the rain website but for someone who wants a rain 4G SIM right away, the expansion of more Pargo Pickup Points with rain SIMS is welcome news.

To RICA online, customers need a valid South African ID, proof of address (like a bank statement, phone bill or store account) not older than three months, and their smartphone.
Passport holders must order their SIMS directly from www.rain.co.za as the online RICA process cannot verify a passport
